8C Writing
- pick your favourite food, find adjectives to describe the taste (and smell, texture) and how it is prepared. See link below

- you will be writing a short paragraph (150 to 200 words) with a pencil and paper on Friday
Example:
I have always loved to enjoy a piece of medium-rare steak on a barbecue during a summer get-together. There is nothing better than chewing on a chunk of tender, juicy and succulent meat, with a pinch of salt and pepper. The flavour of the well-marbled rib-eye pairs incredibly well with a glass of red wine and some grilled vegetables. Although many people say that red meat is unhealthy and bad for you, I simply ignore their advice some of the time and indulge in this expensive, yet mouthwatering Wagyu in my backyard.
- Notice: no run on sentences; not a shopping list but an explanation
- Ideas are clearly conveyed, with good vocabulary
- Not a retell but describe my personal experience why I like the steak
