Probability of winning the lottery notes

 

Let’s start with the easier games to calculate the probability:

 

In Ontario, PICK 2 is a game and it is available to people >age 19. You have to pick two matching numbers (from 0 to 9) to win.  What is the probability of winning? (if you have two matching number, you will win $99)

What is the probability of winning PICK 4? (if you have four matching number, you will win $5000)

Then, we have the bigger jackpots lottery. The famous Lotto 649

Out of 49 numbers, from 1 to 49, pick six numbers correctly. What is the probability for doing that? (if you have six matching number, you will win $36 million)
