Math: Use their graphing books (about 15 students have the graphing books) or use a Google document with a grid to plot up the following shapes.
Name these shapes and find the area
The Google Doc with the grid is here. Ask those without a graphing book to make a copy in their laptop to draw the shapes

Shape A: (2, 8), (10, 8), (2, 4), (10, 4) [this is a rectangle, area = ___cm2]
Shape B: (5, –4), (8, –4), (5, –7), (8, –7) [this is a square, area = ___cm2]
Shape C: (4, 0), (–4, 0), (–4, 3) [this is a right angle triangle, area = ___cm2]
Shape D: (–6, –6), (–3, –6), (–3, –10), (–9, –10) [this is a right trapezoid, area = ___cm2]
Shape E: (–8, 10), (–6, 7), (–8, 4), (–10, 7) [this is a rhombus, area = ___cm2]
Shape F: Draw a regular hexagon and determine all six coordinates (equal length for all sides)
* note: they must use a pencil and a ruler to draw the axis and all the shapes. Any scribbling lines will not be acceptable. Those who draw in the Doc will have to use coloured lines to show the shapes
