Salut 8C!

I will not see you today or tomorrow but I will hopefully see you on Friday. I have left some work with Mr. Frank that he will explain to you once you've completed the other unfinished assignments.

You will be learning how to do le future proche, this means the near future. In French, people use this to talk about things that they are GOING to do! If you remember, one of the very important Fab Four verbs is aller, which means to go. We must use aller to create the the future tense followed by another verb. We do this in English as well by saying, "I'm going to go to the park after school. = Je vais aller au parc après l'école.

Please click on the link to listen to how the future proche is used in conversations about going on vacation.

Once you've done that, click on the link to the slideshow to take a virtual trip to Paris! Click and read about various places in Paris that you could visit. You will be writing sentences about places you would go to/visit in French using this slideshow. Please look at some of the examples provided as you will be writing your own sentences on the second side of the handout that  Mr. Frank will give you.

Merci,
Mme :)
