As a highly rated online and at-home tutoring service company, Tutor AX has many offices across the country. I am very excited to be applying for the tutoring positions at one of your locations in Toronto for which the jobs are posted from Indeed.com.

 

In the past several years, my school experience with mathematics has enabled me to develop an excellent understanding of different math concepts, and I can communicate effectively with my peers. During my grade 9 and grade 10 years at Bayview Glen private school, I have developed a further understanding of more abstract concepts that I have learned during math lessons. My outstanding communication skills and the ability to explain these concepts allow me to teach my peers and younger students this year so they are well-prepared for tests and quizzes. Furthermore, many students are having difficulty understanding the text in problem-solving based questions. I can use different strategies, such as using a chart or drawing pictures to show younger students what methods must be used to get the answers.  These are my strengths, and I think I can help many elementary students to achieve success.

 

As an outstanding communicator, I can express myself clearly in oral and written forms. The extensive vocabulary that I process enables me to articulate ideas when composing expository and narrative essays. This is another strength that I have, which I can share with students during tutoring.

 

Furthermore, I am quite flexible with work hours, and I am able to tutor online or go to a student's house during the weekends. This will accommodate the needs of many elementary students since their parents should be home when I work with them. I prefer working with elementary-aged students because I work very well with younger ones. Nevertheless, there's no problem teaching Grade 8 or 9 students about math, English or science as I am a very competent individual at school.
