As the drizzle slowly drips down from the dark cloud on a full Moon night, Mini Kwok shivers and trembles on his way to get more chocolate for Halloween. All of a sudden, an eerie noise from far far away echoes softly, and its tone sounds like it is from his dad. With a sudden gust of wind, the father abruptly resurfaces from a grave yard, full of spider web and dried mud on his back.  In no time, dad screams painfully, with his long spikey hairy tail slowly emerging from his crooked spine. This bone chilling scene causes Mini Kwok to freeze, and he passes out in the middle of nowhere.

Notice the use of the atmosphere (moon, cloud, rain, sound, grave yard, spider) to enhance the scary effects. As well, plenty of adjectives and adverbs put an image in your mind to scare you without even seeing the movie!)

Math test tomorrow (factors, prime, LCM, GCF, problem solving questions). Review pre-test

Comprehension 5 and 6

Show dinner DTP document to parents (4 = A, 3 = B, 2= C, 1 = D)

Sign comprehension 3 and 4 (out of 16)
