Grade 7, Kwok’s class
Imagine time traveling, it would be so thrilling if I had the chance to have the
superpower of being able to fiddle with time. Visualizing myself going back in ancient times as
well as traveling to the future let the excitement pour all over me. Instead of using the power
for evil, I would rather make a positive impact not just for myself, but the whole world. In my
opinion, it is necessary to be mindful of others when owning such an impeccable superpower.
First of all, I would go back in time and try the best to prevent all the devastating events
happened in the history, for examples : wars, natural disasters and genocide which had
impacted or destroyed the environment or separated the families. It would also be my mission
to convince the leaders to get together to provide peace and equality for everyone. As well as
getting rid of my own mistakes I’ve made in the past which had caused negative effects.
Furthermore, it would be my pleasure to gain more knowledge based on the historical events
that happened in the past. If I could greet all the admiring historical figures, it would be difficult
to control myself from bouncing all the way into space due to the mind-blowing interactions
with them. As well as taking pictures of different kinds of species that survived on earth even
before humans existed, excitement layered up while all these thoughts strolled slowly in my
head. Additionally, I would travel to the future which is the most thrilling idea ever! However,
fear suddenly occurred to me since there are possibilities that unfavorable things could happen.
What if the earth got destroyed? What if there was a zombie apocalypse? These horrible
thoughts invaded my brain while I brushed them away since we, however, need to be on the
positive side. Anyways, I could still travel to reach personal goals, see the advanced world to
assist me to make better decisions in the present. Last but not least, I would be extremely
famous! As well as being rich, I could easily make money by having a speech about the future,
selling all my ancient species images, even including traveling to the future to check the lottery
number! I could imagine myself lying between 24k gold bars in a golden tub in my gigantic
mansion. Don’t get me wrong, instead of having all the money, I would donate most of it to
different charities, children hospitals and orphanages for people who need it more. Since
having a kind heart is the most important reason for existing in this world for me.
In conclusion, time traveling would be the ideal superpower designed for curious and
adventurous people just like me. Time is precious since it is priceless, when people run out of
time, they remain in history. Exploring through different time periods can be challenging, as
well as interesting. If I ever had this brilliant superpower, I would spend my valuable time
exploring each every single year, observing the changes and other information since this would
be too perfect for a dream. If I am lucky enough, this superpower might exist one day and it will
change my life.

- how many pairs you have to sell to make your first million>
In a Google Doc, record the following:
1) Price your shoes. (note, if the shoe price is too high, say $350, fewer pairs will be sold because people can't afford them)
2) Assume production cost from China is $30/pair
3) Hire someone famous to promote the shoes (e.g. Taylor Swift. Pay her $50/pair for promotion. Less famous, cheaper to hire)
4) How many pairs you have to sell to make one million dollars?
Calculations:
- Assume 5000 pairs will be sold
5000 x $350/pair = $1 750 000 (revenue)
- production cost 5000 pairs x $30 = $150 000
- Taylor cost 5000 pairs x $50 = $250 000
- my profit: revenue – cost ($1 750 000 – $150 000 – $250 000 = $1.35 million Jackport)

- in your Progress Report, please write down three goals (2 academic and 1 personal). Each goal must be
Measurable (put a time there. e.g. I will spend 30mins doing my math homework every night)
Realistic: I will be the next President of the United States, which is not realistic. Must be born in the US
Achievable: If you are failing French this term, it will be not achievable to get 90% in February
(more realistic goal: I will get extra help from Mme Antoniou every Wednesday after school to improve my French marks)
Write neatly in the Progress Report with the parent's signature. This way, I can file that into your OSR
- Art class: finish designing your shoes. Then write an ORIGINAL slogan to promote the product

- Afterwards, find someone famous who will be the spokesperson and tell the world it is the best shoes in the world
