- identify the motions that change the shapes from the original position to the image.  In many cases, there are many motions that can create the same image.  identify all these motions
- for rotation: indicate centre of rotation, turn direction and ts altitude (e.g. 1/4 cw)
- for translation: indicate how much the original shape moves (e.g. 2R, 1D or 2L, 3U).
D = down, U = up, L = left, R = right
- for reflection, draw the line of symmetry

- sign book report sheet; due May 8, 2018 [most will read Broken Blade, a few will read another boo since they have read it before

e.g. Although some people do not like math, it is probably the most important subject to learn in school since we use math everyday.  For example, a Walmart cashier needs to know simple math to provide correct change to all the customers.  Otherwise, Walmart will be losing money by giving out too much change for each transaction.
